Scriptures

We believe that the Bible is God’s inerrant and infallible Word. It was given to man both verbally and plenarilly. The Bible is our absolute authority and as such cannot be added to or taken from. The Bible is to be taken literally unless otherwise stated within the Scriptures. God has preserved His word for mankind throughout the ages. II Timothy 3:16, II Peter 1:19-21, Isaiah 40:8

The Godhead

We believe that there is only one God and that He exists as a triune Being. All parts of this trinity are equal, but each plays a distinct role within the Godhead. We believe that the trinity is made up of God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. Genesis 1:26, I John 5:7

The Person and Work of Christ

God the Son is the second person within the Trinity, and is in submission to the Father. He was born of a virgin and remained sinless because He is impeccable. He was fully God and fully man. Through Him, we are able to be saved. It is Jesus Christ who is the “author of eternal salvation.…” Without belief in the person and work of the Son, no man can be saved. Mark 1:1, I John 1:7, Hebrews 4:15, Hebrews 5:9

The Person and Work of the Holy Spirit

God the Holy Spirit is the third person of the Trinity. The Holy Spirit is in no way inferior to the Father or Son, but simply submissive; He is equally God. The Holy Spirit seals believers at Salvation and continues the sanctification process within them throughout their earthly life. Believers are indwelled by the Holy Ghost and thereby God is always with Christians. I John 5:7, John 14:20, John 15:26, Mark 3:29, Ephesians 1:13-14, Ephesians 4:30, John 7:39, John 14:26, Acts 1:8, Acts 2:38, Acts 11:16-17, Romans 8:9

Salvation

Salvation is found in the person of Jesus Christ, and occurs when one believes the Gospel, makes it personal, and accepts Christ as his Savior. It cannot be earned or bought; it is freely given to anyone that desires to have it. Jesus Christ came to earth with the sole purpose of bringing Salvation to the lost. Acts 4:12, Romans 1:16, Romans 10:10, Ephesians 2:8-9, John 3:16-17

The Church

The New Testament local church is derived of saved individuals that meet together in a certain locality that follow the Bible as their only authority and are committed to obeying it. This body is a voluntary assembly that is autonomous, indigenous, and self-propagating. A true local church has Christ as its leader. Disobedience to doctrine by an individual disqualifies him from membership. Purposeful disobedience to doctrine without changing after learning true doctrine disqualifies the local church from being legitimate. Acts 11:26, I Corinthians 16:3, Titus 1:5, Matthew 28:18-20, Ephesians 5:25, Revelation 3:15-19

Separation

There are two forms of Separation: personal and ecclesiastical. In personal separation men ought to separate from any person or cause that is detrimental to the cause of Christ. Ecclesiastical separation involves the church as a whole separating from any person or organization that purposefully teaches wrong doctrine. Proverbs 22:24, II Timothy 4:14-15, Romans 16:17-19, II Thessalonians 3:14-15

Second Advent

The return of Christ is closer today than it ever has been. We believe that the Lord will return to gather His children before the tribulation begins. At the end of the tribulation Christ will appear in His Second coming and lead the armies of Heaven to victory over sinful man. He will then set up His earthy kingdom and begin his millennial reign. I Corinthians 15:51-53, Revelation 19:11-21, Revelation 20:4-6

Current Trends

We reject any and all forms of theology that do not have solid foundations in the Bible regardless of intent or motive. These include, but are not limited to, neo-orthodoxy, Roman Catholicism, Ecumenical Movement, Modern Tongues Movement.
